About Tim Thames:
Tim Thames is the eDiscovery Director with Legal Eagle. A veteran of providing legal services, Tim brings more than 27 years of hands-on litigation experience with 17 years of concentrated involvement in eDiscovery. Tim has proven expertise to assist clients through every stage of discovery. He leads the eDiscovery and digital forensics team with Legal Eagle. Tim is well known in the legal community from his work leading CLE’s locally and nationally on topics including trial support, eDiscovery, digital forensics and applying technology resources in the litigation environment. He has certifications in many eDiscovery applications and technical tools, including CCO and CCPA certifications from Cellebrite. In addition, Tim is an Adjunct Professor with Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC covering legal technology, law office management and eDiscovery coursework. IN Spring 2022, Tim will kickoff a full semester dedicated to eDiscovery coursework. Tim is also a Board Member of the Foster Care Review Board for Richland County. Tim graduated from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC with a bachelor’s degree in Art History and Philosophy.
