Message from PPA President:
The Executive Board has performed a review of our bylaws and has proposed amendments we would like to present for consideration. Per the bylaws, we must provide copies of the proposed changes 30 days before the vote. Our next meeting is on April 17, and we would like to hold a vote at that time.
Here are our proposed changes. Many are cosmetic changes. But there are three substantial changes we are proposing.
- Definition of a paralegal;
- Changes to the provisional student membership to allow membership in the year after graduation whether or not employed as a paralegal; and
- Removal of references to SCAPA, which no longer exists.
Voting members, please plan to attend to vote on these proposed changes. If you wish to submit a vote by proxy, please give your proxy in writing to your designated person.
Please join us for April Luncheon & CLE
